The Western Oriole (Oriolus brachyrhynchus), also known as the Western Black-headed Oriole, is a species of bird in the Oriolidae family that is native to Africa.
It is found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and moist savanna.
